The following information has been provided to make your visit to the snow as pleasant and successful as possible. Weather in the mountains can alter dramatically in the space of a few hours, from sunshine and mild temperatures to snowfalls and very cold conditions, it is advisable to have clothing suitable for the possible changes. Beanies, gloves and eye protection are essential.


CLOTHING REQUIRED FOR A DAY IN THE SNOW
Layers of clothing preferable to one heavy garment, you will need to wear--

  • A short sleeve tee shirt.
  • A skivvy or long sleeve tee shirt.
  • A tracksuit top, jumper or polar fleece.
  • A spare pair of track pants and socks on the day.


Our hire parkas and pants are waterproof, wind proof and insulated for warmth, it depends how each student feels the cold the number of garments worn under their hire clothing.


STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BRING OR PURCHASE FROM THE SKI CO

  • Waterproof insulated gloves.
  • Headwear, warm hat or beanie.
  • Sunglasses or goggles.
  • Sun cream and lip balm.

YOU WILL NEED TO HIRE--
FUN PACKAGES (NON SKIERS)

  • Waterproof & windproof, clothing (pants, parka or suit).
  • Waterproof insulated, non-slip walk boots.
Toboggan, optional, lots of fun, not included in fun pack price, (Please check your schools regulations regarding hire of toboggans).



SKIERS / SNOWBOARDERS PACKAGE

  • Skis, boots & poles or Snowboard & boots.
  • Waterproof & windproof clothing (pants parka or suit).
  • Helmets are optional, the wearing of helmets is not compulsory.
  • Wrist guards are optional for snowboarders.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

  • Option 1. Pay by cheque or credit card on the day, we issue you with a tax invoice.
  • Option 2. School is invoiced for hire.
  • Option 3. Cash on the day, not recommended as it slows down service and students can not claim back GST.
